Setting Your Seller Policy

Summary:

Your Seller Policy tells buyers everything they need to know before bidding—shipping days, carriers, handling time, DOA (Dead on Arrival) guarantees, and any other terms. This single policy applies to all your listings and is required before you can list any products.

How to Set Your Seller Policy

  1. Go to Settings > Profile in your seller dashboard.

    Enter your policy, including:

    • Contact - You must include an email or a phone number with a live person.
    • Shipping Days – The days of the week you ship orders (e.g., Monday–Wednesday).
    • Carriers & Methods – Such as UPS Next Day Air, FedEx Overnight, etc.
    • Handling Time – How quickly you prepare and ship after payment.
    • DOA Guarantee – If offered, specify coverage period, proof required, and claim process.
    • Other Terms – Any additional buyer expectations, such as local pickup options.
  2. Save your changes. Your policy will appear in all your listings.

Why It Matters

  • Buyers see your Seller Policy before placing a bid.
  • You cannot list a product until your Seller Policy is completed and saved.

Reminder:

All policies must comply with our Terms and Conditions and Seller Agreement. This includes safe live animal packaging and truthful descriptions.
