Understanding Shipping Rates & Dates

Summary:

Each seller on ReefnBid sets their own shipping rates and the days they ship. This information appears in the listing and your order details, so you know the cost and when to expect delivery.


Shipping Rates

  • Sellers set a default shipping rate (e.g., $50) that applies to most orders.
  • Some sellers may offer special rates for certain states (for example, lower shipping for nearby regions).
  • If offered, you’ll see the special rate automatically applied at checkout.

Shipping Dates

  • Each seller chooses which days of the week they ship (e.g., Mon–Wed).
  • By default, your order ships on the next available shipping day after the auction ends.
  • You can change your shipping date in your Shipping Preferences.

Free Local Pickup

  • Some sellers may allow in-store pickup at no cost.
  • Details, including the pickup location and instructions, will be in the seller’s policy.

Tip:

For live animals, always choose a shipping date when you’ll be home to receive the package immediately.
