Cancelling an Order

Summary:

For transparency and fairness, ReefnBid does not allow order cancellations. The only exception is when a payment fails on a non-empty order.

Key Rules

• No Cancellations by Buyers or Sellers
  • Once an auction is won or is purchased, the order is binding.
  • Buyers cannot cancel to avoid payment.

  • Sellers cannot cancel to avoid fulfillment.

    Exception: Payment Failure

  • If a buyer’s payment fails and the order contains items, the order may be cancelled.
  • Sellers are not required to hold items for buyers with failed payments.

Why This Matters

• Protects the integrity of auctions.
• Builds buyer and seller trust by preventing abuse.
• Keeps the marketplace fair and transparent.

Reminder:

Sellers must still follow their Seller Agreement when handling orders. Buyers are responsible for keeping their payment methods current to avoid cancellations.
