Seller Credit

What Are Seller Credits?

Seller Credits are store credits issued by a seller as a goodwill gesture or to help resolve an issue. They can be used on future purchases from the same seller.

How Seller Credits Work

  • Automatically applied at checkout

Credits apply automatically when you purchase from the seller who issued them. There are no codes required.

  • Lower sales tax

Credits reduce the product price before tax is calculated, so you pay less sales tax than with a post-purchase refund.

  • Flexible amounts

Credits aren’t tied to a specific order and may be issued for any amount.

  • Smart expiration handling

If you have multiple credits from the same seller, ReefnBid automatically applies the ones expiring soonest first.

Where to View Your Credits

  • Go to Account → Seller Credits
  • See available balances and expiration dates

Important Notes

  • Credits are seller-specific and can only be used with the issuing seller
  • Credits apply to products only, not shipping
  • Credits are not redeemable for cash and expire if unused
