Say No to Text Messaging

Keep Communication on ReefnBid (or Email)

When you have a question about an order or need to report a problem, reach the seller through ReefnBid Messenger. Email is also acceptable when needed.

Sellers are prohibited from using text messaging (SMS) or other informal channels, including but not limited to Facebook/Instagram Messenger, WhatsApp, WeChat, Telegram, and Discord.

Why Not Text Messaging

1. Harder to track and manage

Text conversations aren't tied to your orders, making it difficult to stay organized or reference past discussions when you need them.

2. Limited buyer protection

ReefnBid can only reliably review on-platform messages. Email may be considered, but text messages are often incomplete or unverifiable, which weakens your ability to file and win a claim.

3. Encourages rushed or emotional responses

Texting tends to lead to quick, reactive replies that can escalate situations or create misunderstandings between you and the seller.

4. Leaves no clear record

Without a documented trail tied to your order, it's harder to prove what was promised if a dispute arises.

Best Practice

- Use ReefnBid Messenger as your primary way to contact sellers

- Use email when necessary for longer or formal communication

- Avoid sharing or relying on phone numbers for support

Important Note

Using text messaging for support may:

- Make disputes harder to resolve

- Weaken your ability to file a claim

- Lead to inconsistent experiences with sellers

- Make it hard to decide the case in your favor
